Welcome
We have an exciting year planned with lots of hands on experiences, problem solving, challenges and some wonderful visits. We welcome parental involvement in the life of our school. If you are able to visit the school or help in any way, please contact your child’s class teacher.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to phone us, make an appointment or see us before or after school.
Mrs Whittaker, Mrs Holme and Mrs Hughes.

Supporting your child
All children have access to a wide variety of books. Children have the opportunity to choose a book of their choice and also a book levelled at their ability. Parents can support their children's learning through reading with them every day, taking children to the local library to read about our themes, and by practicing maths with them.
Each week your child will receive a spelling list. Spellings are based on the National Curriculum requirements for KS1. The spelling list will be glued into your child’s home/school book and there will be spare copies available in the classrooms in case the list goes astray!

Please note, all children have a Times Tables Rock Stars Account and should be using the resources to practise their tables. Where children cannot access the website from home, they can evidence practising their tables at home on paper to bring in and share with their teacher.
You may find the following websites useful to use at home;
