A set book or text that children will read with their teacher in a weekly session with a follow-on task set as homework and completed in their Reading Homework Book.

Additional Home Reading:

15 mins 3x per week with an adult using a book of their choice.

Please record all reading you do with your child in their Reading Record Book and initial.

We recommend daily practice of the spelling list sent home weekly on Fridays.  This is tested the following Friday.

New lists will be stuck into Home Spelling Books and scores for tests recorded by the children.

Set weekly on Thursday to be done and returned the following Monday.  Initially, this homework will link to number skills and/or times tables 'Going for Gold' targets.

If your child routinely fails to bring the above home, please check with your class teacher.
